There are more than 40 million orphans and orphaned children affected by economic and political crises worldwide. In Turkey, more than 5 million children were affected by the earthquake. Children all over the world have to struggle with war, conflict, disaster, crisis, hunger and diseases. Children who have to struggle with these problems are deprived of their right to protection and face dangerous situations such as child labour, substance abuse, child marriage, physical and sexual abuse.
With child sponsorship, financial support is provided on a regular basis every month to children in need, especially orphaned children, who are trying to cope with severe and chronic health problems, who are disabled or have disabled individuals in their families, who cannot access social assistance, who have to work to support their families or who are at risk of working, who have limited financial means. The school attendance of the children supported under the sponsorship is regularly monitored and encouraging guidance is provided.<\/p> <\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
