Research shows that when students are given the opportunity to learn in environments where these skills are mutually reinforced and accepted as a method of learning, more progress is made academically. Social, emotional and cognitive development is best supported when academic learning is integrated with classroom culture and instructional practice. When students have these skills, attitudes and character traits, they are equipped to succeed in the classroom, perform well in the professional field and succeed in life as contributing and productive members of society.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Mentoring Model<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Our mentoring model is designed with the belief that every student deserves an adult who guides, believes in and supports them. Thanks to the supportive environment and relationships provided, both mentors and young people experience a positive transformation.
