As Yeryüzü Çocukları Association, we aim to deliver your qurban donations to orphans and families in need in Palestine/Gaza, Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon, Bangladesh, Arakanese refugee camps and Tanzania in the scope of 2024 Qurban Distribution activities.

By saying ‘There can be no Eid without Eid clothes’  we have prepared Eid packages for children in need in Palestine, Turkey, Syria, Arakanese refugee camps and Bangladesh, giving them Eid clothes, Eid gifts and an unforgettable Eid.

Qurbani Donations to Palestine will be delivered to Palestinian camps in Palestine/Gaza and Lebanon in the form of frozen meat and canned food in 3 months depending on the changing conditions in Gaza.

1- Which activities will we carry out as part of 2024 Qurban activities?

This year, in the scope of Qurban activities, we will distribute qurbans to orphans, orphan families and families in need; distribute Eid Clothes and Eid gifts to our children in need and organize festivals where thousands of children will breathe the spiritual air of Eid.

2- What do we aim to achieve with our Qurban activities?

Our main goal with our Qurban activities is to help children and families in need, especially orphans, to experience the blessings of Eid al-Adha to the fullest.

We aim to provide our orphans with the nutritional conditions they need and to deliver their Eid clothes so that they can look forward to the morning of Eid like every child.

3- In which regions do we carry out Qurban activities?

We carry out qurban slaughtering operations in Palestine/Gaza, Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon, Bangladesh, Arakanese refugee camps and orphanages, orphans and orphan families in Tanzania.

In addition to these regions, we will deliver Eid clothes, Eid gifts and Eid Festivities to orphans and children in need in Türkiye, Palestine, Bangladesh, Arakanese refugee camps and Syria.

4- What do you pay attention to when identifying the regions, children in need and orphanages where you will carry out Qurban activities?

In regions affected by war, disasters, economic and other crises, where YEÇED conducts work or plans to carry out long-term work, a needs analysis is carried out and orphanages and orphan families in the region are prioritized. In addition, the accessibility and security of the region and the ability to carry out the distribution under reportable conditions are important.

Our social service experts make determinations by taking into account the socio-economic status of children and their families and their accessibility to social assistance.

In other regions where we want to work, we first collect detailed information about the region thanks to the partner organizations we are in contact with, and we hold consultations with our partner organizations, taking into account the information we collect and our corporate principles. Then we identify the most disadvantaged children, especially orphans, in the region and distribute them.

5- How do we determine the prices of qurbans?

For the qurban slaughtering activities we plan to carry out in Bangladesh, Arakanese refugee camps and Tanzania, we research the qurban prices in the regions and determine an average price. The average price allows us to announce our qurban activities with a single price.

6- Can wakalah be given to charity organizations?

Wakalah can be given to aid organizations to carry out Qurbani slaughtering in needy areas. The qurbans slaughtered with the proxy you have given to our association are slaughtered in accordance with the purpose and procedure and delivered to those in need, especially orphan and orphan families.

7- How can you give wakalah to YEÇED?

People who want to donate a qurban to be delivered to those in need by wakalah, deliver the determined qurban price to our organization.

What is required for wakalah is the intention of the person. It is not necessary to express the wakalah verbally. Making a donation for qurban is also a declaration of intention.

8- How does the process work from the moment you give wakalah?

The qurban share price we have determined for 2024 Eid al-Adha is 4,250 TL.  After the determined qurban price is donated to our association, an SMS will be sent to you that we have received your wakalah..

Qurban slaughtering continues until the afternoon of the 3rd day of the Eid.

When the process is completed, you will receive an SMS informing you that your qurban has been slaughtered.

We will provide transparent information content to you, our valuable supporters, with the feedback of our teammates in the field during the qurban process and the content on our social media.

9-Do you send the photos of the qurban?

The slaughter status of the qurbans slaughtered by wakalah will be sent to you as sms. In addition, due to the working conditions in the region, personalized slaughter videos or photos will not be sent. While we share our social media accounts for the transparency of our slaughtering stages, distributions and qurban works, general informative visuals about the process will be sent to you, our valuable supporters, via WhatsApp.

10- Is it possible to donate qurbans from abroad?

11-Can the person have his/her qurban slaughtered wherever he/she wants?

People who donate their qurban shares to our association can choose Palestine or general overseas share donation from among the countries where the association will carry out sacrificial slaughter activities.

12- Until which day is the deadline for donating qurbans?

Qurban donations can be made until 17.00 on the 2nd day of the Wind through the Iban address on our website or through the link https://bagisyap.yeced.org/bagis.

13-Can aqeeqah, adak and shukur qurbans also be slaughtered during Eid Al-Adha?

You can donate to our association to slaughter aqiqa, aqeedah and shukur qurbans during Eid al-Adha.
