Children growing up in the shadow of war in Gaza need a safe educational environment more than ever to keep their dreams and hopes for the future alive. In these challenging times, we have established the Gaza Education Center to help them continue their education and look to the future with hope. 

In addition to our educational activities, which are grounded in the enduring hope of the people of Gaza, we aim to provide psychosocial support to help our children cope with their challenges and contribute to their emotional healing process.

1- What is the aim of the Gaza Education Center project?

The Gaza Education Center project aims to provide a learning environment for children deprived of education due to the devastating effect of the war in Gaza. The project strives to help children resume their basic education, which they have been without for a year, and to offer psychosocial support to help them cope with the challenges they face. 

2- Out of what kind of need did the Education Center in Gaza arise?

The Education Center in Gaza was born out of an urgent need as a result of the destruction of schools due to the war and the deprivation of education for thousands of children for a year. 

3- Who is the Education Center intended for?

The Education Center is for Gazan children in primary, middle and high school who have been deprived of education due to the effects of the war.

4- How do you establish the Education Centers?

The education centers are established by converting existing undamaged buildings into schools.

5- Where is the Education Center located?

Our education center is located in Northern Gaza. We are also working on establishing education centers in other areas of Gaza.

6- What types of education are provided under the Education Center project?

Arabic, English, Mathematics, Art, Religion classes, and physical activities are provided. This education follows an accelerated model focused on helping children make up for the lost academic year. 

7- What is done for psychosocial support?

The Education Center offers psychosocial support along with education to help children cope with trauma and stress. In addition to daily programs, extra-curricular activities and weekly psychosocial support sessions are organized.
